The sacked Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Appropriation, Hon Abdul-mumin Jibrin, on Wednesday, called the Speaker of the House, Hon Yakubu Dogara; his Deputy, Yusuf Sulaimon Lasun; Chief Whip, Alhassan Ado Doguwa, Minority Leader, Hon Leo Ogor, and their sympathisers in the lower chamber “shameless thieves”.

Jibrin made the caustic comment about the Dogara and others in a series of tweets on his twitter handle after move made earlier in the chamber to suspend him turned rowdy.
“Dinner then a peaceful night drive❤️…make I enjoy small before I go deal with those shameless thieves…” he tweeted.
In another tweet, he said tough times lie ahead of the speaker, the four principal officers and their supporters.
The tweet: “Interesting day at the House. Nigerians are being taken for granted. The next few days will be decisive! I will tweet my position shortly. The allegations are too grievous to be reduced to such process open to manipulation and tele-guiding. I will therefore continue to cooperate with the anti-graft agencies who are already investigation the matter. I will also proceed to build a massive coalition with CSO & well-meaning Nigerians to ensure that this matter is not swept under the carpet.”
