Social media influencer and self-acclaimed relationship therapist, Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, has broken down in an emotional tribute to her late nine-year-old son, Bryan, admitting that she may never recover from the shock of losing him.

In a heartbreaking Instagram post on Sunday, the influencer recalled the gifts she had promised to buy her son, including an iPad and a bicycle, lamenting that he would no longer be around to receive them.

“I will keep living in denial, I miss you, bought the iPad I promised you, and also the bicycle,” she wrote.

Blessing CEO also imagined how Bryan would have waited for her return home, a painful memory that appeared to have intensified her grief.

“You would have waited for mummy to come back,” she wrote.

Remembering the kind of child her son was, she described him as selfless, kind, outspoken, bold and exceptionally intelligent, saying those were the qualities by which she would forever remember him.

“This is how I will forever remember you. Selfless, kind, outspoken, bold and very intelligent,” she added.

The grieving influencer said she believed Bryan was in heaven and vowed to carry his memories wherever she went.

“I miss you my baby, I will never recover from this shock.

“Rest on my guardian angel. Bryan.

“Sleep well my Dum Dum, mummy loves and miss you.

“Everywhere is so cold and quiet,” she wrote.

The tribute comes days after Blessing CEO opened up about her son’s death during an emotional interview following her release from custody.

She reportedly disclosed that Bryan had once dreamt about his own death and narrated the experience to his brother, Darell, her sister, Precious, and her father, but did not tell her.

“When my son was alive, he dreamt that he died. He told his brother Darell and my sister Precious, who prayed for him. He also told my Dad, but he never told me,” she was quoted as saying.

She further recounted that she learnt while in custody that her son had been relying on two inhalers.

According to her account, she was informed that Bryan died at a hospital at about 6:30am on a Monday.

Reflecting on the circumstances surrounding her release from custody, Blessing CEO said the news of her son’s death robbed her of any happiness she might have felt after regaining her freedom.

“I didn’t come out to the best of news. I didn’t come out excited because I lost something I couldn’t get back,” she said.

She also admitted struggling with guilt but said she was trying to summon the strength to carry on, believing that her son would want her to make him proud.

“I came out knowing that wherever my son is, he wants to be proud of his mother,” she added.

Blessing CEO was released on bail in late October after spending months in custody over separate alleged fraud cases.

The cases are still ongoing, and her release on bail does not amount to an acquittal.
