The prolonged feud between P-Square twins, Peter and Paul Okoye, may never end, with their eldest brother, Henry Okoye, blaming their elder brother, Jude Okoye, for worsening the family crisis.
Henry said Jude’s intervention in the twins’ affairs contributed to the breakdown of their relationship, claiming that the family was much closer before the disagreements escalated.
Speaking in an interview with social commentator Jos Connection at their father’s residence in Plateau State, Henry said he had watched Peter’s accounts of the events that led to the collapse of P-Square and believed the dispute had gone too far.
He recalled how Jude Okoye allegedly intervened when he and his siblings were starting to make money, saying he had been promised a 20 per cent share before Jude stopped the arrangement.
“I will be happy for them to come back together but I don’t think it will happen. Paul was a very kind person,” Henry said.
Henry also expressed surprise at what he described as a major change in Paul’s attitude, while appealing to him to forgive Peter and reconsider his position in the family dispute.
He further urged Jude to help restore peace among the Okoye siblings instead of allowing the disagreement to continue.
“I want all the family to come back. I have tried my best. Even Shehu Dantata spoke to them and they didn’t listen,” he said.
Henry’s comments come amid a bitter dispute between Peter, Paul and Jude, who previously managed P-Square.
Peter and Paul first split in 2017 before reuniting in 2021, but their reconciliation collapsed again in 2024 amid fresh accusations over the management of their music business and finances.
Peter accused Jude of being involved in the management of royalties belonging to P-Square, including allegations surrounding Northside Music Limited. Paul, however, defended Jude and accused Peter of being responsible for the legal troubles confronting their elder brother.
Jude was later arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over alleged financial offences involving N1.38bn, $1m and £34,537.59. He pleaded not guilty.
Peter subsequently testified in the case and made allegations concerning the management of P-Square’s royalties.
Against the backdrop of the bitter family and financial dispute, Henry said he had forgiven his siblings and remained desperate to see the Okoye family reunited.
But despite his desire for peace, he admitted he was no longer confident that Peter and Paul could repair their once-close relationship.
