Stefanie Kim Ladewig, the eight-month pregnant girlfriend of Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen, has escaped injury after her SUV was involved in a three-vehicle crash in Istanbul, Türkiye.
The 26-year-old model was taken to a private hospital for precautionary medical examinations following Tuesday’s accident but was later discharged after doctors confirmed she was in good condition.
Türkiye Today reported on Wednesday, citing the Demirören News Agency (DHA), that the crash occurred at about 3:10pm in the Mithatpasa neighbourhood of Kemerburgaz, within Istanbul’s Eyupsultan district.
According to the report, Ladewig was driving an SUV when she entered a bend and collided with a light commercial vehicle driven by a man identified as Paris T.
The impact reportedly caused her to lose control of the vehicle, which then crashed into another SUV approaching from the opposite direction.
The accident involved three vehicles, all of which sustained damage. However, no injuries were reported.
Given her advanced stage of pregnancy, Ladewig reportedly proceeded to a private hospital in the Maslak area of Istanbul’s Sariyer district for medical checks to ensure that she and her unborn baby were safe.
She was subsequently discharged after the examinations, with reports indicating that she was in good condition.
Ladewig, who was born in Berlin, Germany, is a model known for sharing fashion and beauty content on social media.
Her boyfriend, Osimhen, 27, is a Nigerian international footballer who plays for Turkish giants Galatasaray.
