Nollywood actress and filmmaker Toyin Abraham has opened up about the heartbreaking loss of a pregnancy she was carrying for almost four months.
The actress shared the emotional experience while speaking at the Bestie Jesu Concert 2026 in Lagos, recounting how she suffered the miscarriage while working on a movie set.
Abraham said the loss left her emotionally shattered, even as she had to deal with the demands of filming.
She revealed that she initially struggled with the thought of informing her parents, especially her elderly mother, about what had happened.
Rather than immediately calling home, she informed her husband, who was away from her at the time, before seeking help from Pastor Bolaji Idowu of Harvesters International Christian Centre.
According to Abraham, the pastor immediately began praying for her and asked about her location as she headed to the hospital for treatment.
She explained that doctors had planned an evacuation procedure following the pregnancy loss.
The actress said Pastor Bolaji not only offered prayers but also sent her millions of naira to help settle her medical expenses.
Looking back on the difficult moment, Abraham expressed deep appreciation to the cleric for standing by her when she needed support the most.
She thanked Pastor Bolaji and prayed for God’s blessings upon him.
