The world premiere of the new movie, Beyond Blood, which opened on January 15 in theatres across the country, was last Thursday at Silverbird Cinema, Victoria Island, Lagos. 
The event, which was strictly by invitation included appearances by the film’s director, Greg Odutayo, the producer, Deborah Odutayo and the film’s stars, including Joseph Benjamin, Caroline King, Deyemi Okanlawon, Ijeoma Grace Agu, Okey Uzoeshi, Francis Onwochei, Wole Ojo, as well as some of their colleagues in the entertainment industry, Yomi Sodimu, DJ Jimmy Jatt, and Adunni Ade with all looking suave, and absolutely stunning. 
The premiere was quite an event, with two hours of festivities prior to the start of the film. The festivities included green carpet, cocktail and interviews with the filmmakers and various celebrities.
The evening was indeed out-sized — attendance figures were not available, but an eyeball estimate put the crowd at over 2,000.
The cast of Beyond Blood movie is a blend of old hands in movie industry that include Segun Arinze, Shan George, Bimbo Manuel, and Francis Nwochei, and rising stars such as Kehinde Bankole.
