Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa, has explained his decision to sell fuel at a reduced price at his fuel station, MYCA7.
Pictures of the Nigeria’s most capped footballer, having played 108 matches since his debut at just 17 in 2010 in the mold of a fuel attendant selling the product into vehicles’ fuel tanks at his business premises went viral, with him announcing that at fuel price in his stations located in Kano State has been reduced from N620 to N580 per litre.
The announcement earned him wide praise.
In an interview with Punchng, the 30-year-old ascribed his decision to trying times Nigerians are facing saying, “No matter how small the reduction is, we can live better with that. It’s tough now and I know people are struggling to survive daily.”
The Super Eagles captain also unfolded his plan to open more fuel stations outside Kano.
According to him, “Hopefully, MYCA7 will be in other parts of the country pretty soon.”
